India's first moon probe Chandrayaan-I, gave a hiccup to the Indian Scientists.
Scientists said that the technical malfunction came close to complete failure but due to their endless effort they managed to save the Rs. 400 Crore satellite.
They further said that it is now fully functional but a bit crippled. Chandrayaan-I has completed almost 90% of its missions. But it is not certain for long it will continue its probe. ISRO chairman Mr. G. Madhavan Nair said in a statement issued to the press that a Star Sensor a prime Sensor which was used for determining the altitude of the spacecraft developed a small hitch.
This Failure gave a cue to the ISRO scientists who are working on Chandrayaan-II, which is to be launched on 2013.
